Kazatomprom CFO Temirbayev steps down, Marat Tulebayev to replace him
ASTANA. Aug 23 (Interfax) - Sultan Temirbayev has stepped down as chief financial officer at Kazatomprom, effective August 19, 2024, Kazakhstan's national nuclear corporation said.
"Temirbayev, who has served as chief financial officer and management board member since August 2023, has decided to leave his position effective August 19, 2024," it said.
Temirbayev had held the role since September 1, 2023.
Marat Tulebayev is expected to be appointed as the new CFO.
The company said Tulebayev, who was director of the Economics and Budgeting Department from 2017 to 2019 and played a key role in preparing Kazatomprom for its IPO, most recently served as chairman of the management board at the Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund.
