Number of Russian dairy product suppliers to China rises to 58 - regulator

MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - The number of Russian dairy product suppliers to China has risen to 58, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) said.

China's General Administration of Customs cleared another supplier lately.

The Rosselkhoznadzor press service identified the new supplier to Interfax as Alabuga Sote dry milk manufacturer from Tatarstan.

The new exporter was registered through the Chinese CIFER information system.

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported $922,974 worth of Russian cheese and cottage cheese in January-June, versus $99,250 last year (up 9.3-fold), while Russian milk deliveries grew to $534,337 from $141,640, respectively.
