Ukrainian gas transport operator buys 128 mln cubic meters of gas on Ukrainian Energy Exchange in Jan-July 2024

MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - The Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine (GTSOU) has purchased 128.1 million cubic meters of gas on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEEX) in January-July 2024, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the company's press service.

The GTSOU has concluded 82 agreements with 18 sellers. In July alone, the GTSOU purchased 29.9 million cubic meters of gas at the UEEX by concluding 18 contracts with ten sellers.

"The operator is interested in expanding the range of business partners and building long-standing and mutually beneficial relations with the market. The company plans to actively offer participants the full list of products to buy, including non-resident participants with the delivery to the Ukrainian border and with the delivery to an underground storage facility on customs warehouse terms," it said.

The GTSOU transports natural gas to customers in Ukraine and the European Union.
