Agroeco Group starts exporting pork products to Africa
VORONEZH. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Agroeco Group has made the first delivery to Africa by sending offal to Congo, the group's press service said.
Agroexpo plans to begin regular supplies to Congo and sell another offal batch shortly.
"For us, this is a new area and a new step. There is much work to do in order to strengthen and develop this partnership. Yet we already see an interest in our products on the export market." the group cited its Commercial Director Dmitry Alexeyev as saying.
For now, Agroeco mostly supplies its products to neighboring countries and plans to begin the deliveries to Southeast Asia, the statement said.
Agroeco exported over 11,000 tonnes of products in the first half of 2024.
In 2023, the company exported more than 15,000 tonnes of meat products, "thus boosting exports 413% versus 2022," the statement said.

The structure consists of commercial pig-breeding complexes, a selection and genetic center, feed mills, a crop production cluster, motor transport enterprises, a dairy farm, and a chain of branded stores.
