Sibagro ramps up grain export capacity, plans container shipments by train
TOMSK. Aug 12 (Interfax) - Sibagro Group, which began exporting grain in February, shipped more than 60,000 tonnes of grain for export in the first half of 2024, the company reported.
The main markets were China and South Korea. The group plans to increase export capacity to 30,000 tonnes per month from the current 25,000 tonnes.
"At the beginning of next year the company plans to begin shipping with the help of forming container trains. This means of delivering grain is far faster, and more reliable and lucrative," Sibagro said.
