Russian Security Council secretary meets with Azerbaijani president

BAKU. Aug 6 (Interfax) - Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a working visit to Baku on Tuesday.

Shoigu laid flowers at the tomb of former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev at the Memory Alley in Baku and honored the memory of Heydar Aliyev's wife Zarifa.

Shoigu visited Iran on Monday. He met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Iranian General Staff Chief Mohammad Bagheri in Tehran.
