Ukraine's Centravis ramps up pipe production 9% YoY in H1 2024

MOSCOW. July 29 (Interfax) - Ukraine's PJSC Centravis Production Ukraine ramped up pipe production 9% year-on-year to 6,880 tonnes in January-June 2024, Ukrainian media reported, citing the company's press release.

Citing production director Andrei Krasyuk, the press release indicates that "the Centravis team implemented interesting projects" in the first six months, including the production of stove pipes for U.S oil and gas companies, and orders for a shipyard in Poland.

"We are currently actively working on hydrogen projects. Moreover, we are trying to expand the geography of supplies, and enter and gain a foothold in new markets," Krasyuk said.

As reported, Centravis ramped up production volumes 12% year-on-year to 12,200 tonnes in 2023. More than 98% of products are supplied to foreign markets. The company exported its products to 38 countries, particularly to Germany, Italy, the United States, Japan, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.

Founded in 2000, Centravis is part of the Centravis Ltd. holding, and is the largest manufacturer of seamless stainless steel pipes in Ukraine.

The Centravis holding was created based on CJSC Nikopol Stainless Steel Pipe Plant and the Production and Commercial Enterprise YUVIS LLC service and trading companies. Its shareholders are members of the Atanasov family.
