China trims imports of Russian oil 2.4% MoM to 2.05 mln bpd in June

MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - China trimmed imports of Russian oil 2.4% month-on-month to an average of 2.05 million barrels per day in June, Interfax calculations indicate based on data from China's General Administration of Customs.

Russia overall exported 8.43 million tonnes of oil to China in June versus 8.91 million tonnes in May, with the latter spending $4.9 billion for the commodity against $5.2 billion, respectively.

Russia exported a daily average of 281,000 tonnes of oil to China in June against 287,000 tonnes in May, at a barrelization rate of 7.3 resulting in 2.05 million bpd, a decline from 2.1 million bpd in May.
