Ukranian govt adds 5 organizations to list of foreign agencies ensuring education quality recognized in Ukraine

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian cabinet of ministers has added five organizations to the list of foreign accreditation agencies and agencies ensuring the quality of higher education whose certificates are recognized in Ukraine.

A relevant decision was made at a meeting of the government on Friday, Ukrainian media outlets said, citing the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

In particular, the addendum "The List of Foreign Accreditation Agencies and Agencies Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education Issuing Educational Program Accreditation Certificates Which are Recognized in Ukraine" was rephrased in a new version.

The following organizations were added to the list: the Canarian Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (based in Spain), the Valencian Agency for Assessment and Forecasting (Spain), the European Council for Theological Education (Germany), the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (Greece), and the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (Slovakia). The Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute based in Germany and the Netherlands' EQ-Arts - Enhancing Quality in the Arts were removed from the list.
