Slovenian govt approves 5 mln euros in humanitarian aid for Ukraine - president

MOSCOW. June 28 (Interfax) - The Slovenian government has approved the provision of an additional 5 million euros for Ukraine's humanitarian needs, Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar said while visiting Kiev.

"We've brought good news to Kiev. The Slovenian government has approved an additional 5 million euros in support for humanitarian purposes," Ukrainian media quoted Pirc Musar as saying.

Slovenia wishes to be active in this respect, she said.

"Slovenia is a small country, and we cannot provide as much military support as big states can do, and yet we have given a lot and will give even more," she said.
