Ukrainian PM discusses progress of reforms with IMF top official
MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) First Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath have discussed the progress of reforms in Ukraine and implementation of structural benchmarks that formed the basis of the country's Reforms Matrix.
"We count on the support from the IMF Executive Board at the end of this month, as its decision will provide Ukraine with $2.2 billion under the $15.6-billion EFF [Extended Fund Facility] program," Shmygal was quoted by Ukrainian media as saying on social media.
The meeting particularly focused on macroeconomics, he said.
