Russian Central Bank capable of ensuring stability on all markets - Kremlin spokesman

MOSCOW REGION. June 13 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia is capable of ensuring stability on all markets, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when commenting on the United States' sanctions against the Moscow Exchange .

"Let's proceed from the Central Bank's statements. The Central Bank is in fact a mega-regulator that is capable of ensuring stability on all markets, which is what is being done," Peskov told journalists when asked to comment on the relevant U.S. sanctions.

"We are thinking about actions that will best meet our interests," Peskov said in response to whether Russia is considering retaliatory measures.
