Gazprom Neft's experience in developing difficult reserves will be useful outside Russia - Dyukov

ST. PETERSBURG. June 6 (Interfax) - Gazprom Neft's experience in extracting difficult reserves will be useful outside Russia. This opinion was expressed by Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov during the Future of the Oil and Gas Market: Prospects for Global Demand and Plans of Producers session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)-2024.

"We have a large resource base, which includes hard-to-recover reserves; we engage and develop reserves in remote regions. These include the Arctic and Eastern Siberia. This is a challenge that we are successfully overcoming. The Arctic and Eastern Siberia directly account for more than 50% of the company's production, and in just hard-to-recover reserves, then this is almost 70%," he said.

"This gives us new experience - in technologies, equipment and digital solutions, which we can apply not just in Russia. We believe that we will be useful outside our country, because we know that simple reserves for development are finite, and there are a large number of complex reserves. We believe that our competencies and technologies will be in demand abroad," Dyukov said.
