Progress MS-27 resupply ship launched to ISS from Baikonur

MOSCOW. May 30 (Interfax) - A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle coupled with the Progress MS-27 resupply ship has lifted off from Baikonur Cosmodrome, Roscosmos said in a livestream.

The rocket was launched from Baikonur Area 31 at 12:43 p.m.

After a two-day flight, the ship is due to dock with the Poisk module of the ISS Russian segment at 2:47 p.m. on June 1. It will remain in orbit for around 173 days, Roscosmos said.

According to Roscosmos mission materials, Progress MS-27 will perform a 34-orbit flight over 50 hours and four minutes.

It will deliver over 2.5 tonnes of cargo, including 1,290 kilograms of hardware and equipment for station systems, experiment sampling kits, clothes, food, medical and personal hygiene products for Expedition 71, 754 kilograms of fuel for the station, 420 kilograms of drinking water for the crew, and 40 kilograms of nitrogen for the ISS's atmosphere.
