KazTransOil to raise domestic oil pumping tariff slightly from July
ASTANA. May 27 (Interfax) - The Kazakh National Economy Ministry's Committee for the Regulation of Natural Monopolies has approved a new tariff for KazTransOil JSC for pumping oil through the trunk pipeline system for the domestic market.
The new rate is set at 4,851.87 tenge per tonne per 1,000 km (excluding VAT), according to the company's press service. This tariff will take effect on July 1.
The company's press service told Interfax that the current tariff was 4,849.39 tenge per tonne per 1,000 km, effective since June 2023. Therefore, the new tariff rises 0.05%.
KazTransOil operates Kazakhstan's main oil pipelines, and it owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines totaling 5,400 km.
