Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reports seizing Stradivarius violin at border with Poland

MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - Border guards and customs have prevented an Antonius Stradivarius violin made in 1713 from being taken outside Ukraine, Ukrainian media said, citing a statement by the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service on a social network.

"An inspection team found the musical instrument in the trunk of a vehicle headed to Poland," the statement said.
