Vladimir Gerasimov

Head of business and finance information at Interfax, the first independent news agency in the Soviet Union and a pioneer in impartial and reliable reporting on the USSR.
Graduated from Moscow State University's School of Journalism. Completed a Reuters business journalism course in 1992.
Worked in Foreign Broadcasting before joining Interfax in 1991, where he created the news agency's first business and finance products.
Interfax Financial and Business Information Service includes real-time news services and market data systems, corporate and text data bases, disclosure services. Vladimir Gerasimov also oversees several Interfax international projects: Moody's Interfax Rating Agency, Interfax-D&B, Experian Interfax Credit Bureau.
Chairman of the Russian Financial Communications and Investor Relations Association (ARFI).


NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has given an interview to Interfax ahead of the alliances summit in Brussels on July 11-12, in which he about Russias place on the summits agenda and how NATO is going to build relations with Russia.
