Russian Investigative Committee receives 143 missing person reports following Crocus attack, 84 bodies identified

MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - The Russian Investigative Committee has received 143 missing person reports following the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue, the committee said on Telegram on Tuesday.

"The Russian Investigative Committee has received 143 reports from affected people on their missing relatives or loved ones resulting from the terrorist attack. At the present time, 84 bodies have been identified, including the bodies of five children nine to sixteen years of age," it said.

DNA tests have been ordered to identify the other fatalities, it said.

"The investigation is analyzing the use of the Internet by the accused to plan and commit the crime. It is studying information retrieved from various technical devices that were used by the terrorists," it said.

All this information was reported to Investigative Committee chief Alexander Bastrykin at a conference at the scene of the attack, it said.
