Two nationalists arrested in Moscow
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Moscow's Presnensky Court on Wednesday authorized the arrest of two organizers of a nationalist grouping the members of which were trained for extremist crimes.
"The court chose to place Kirill Uchyonov and Daniil Bondar in custody until July 6," the court's press secretary Alexei Chernikov told Interfax.
He added that the court hearing was closed to the public.
Uchyonov and Bondar are charged with forming an extremist community, that is an organized group of persons for preparing or committing extremist crimes.
An Interfax source said that according to the investigation "Uchyonov and Bondar organized combat training sessions involving instructors."
"The investigation believes that this training was organized by the said persons for involvement in massive disturbances aimed at undermining political and social stability in Russia," the source said.
According to the source, the criminal case of the establishment of and participation in an extremist community was launched against six persons. Three of them are minors and a travel ban was imposed on them.
One more suspected member of the grouping, Vyacheslav Mukhin, was placed under home arrest until the beginning of July.
In the framework of the criminal case searches were previously conducted at the homes of several dozen active members of the group in Moscow, Vladimir and Ryazan. The source said that weapons, extremist literature, Nazi paraphernalia as well as the group's manifesto were seized in the searches.
