Snow delays over 150 flights at Moscow airports
MOSCOW. Dec 4 (Interfax) - More than 150 flights have either been delayed or canceled at Moscow airports due to heavy snowfall as of 9 a.m. Monday.
According to Domodedovo Airport's online timetable, 75 arrivals have been delayed, in addition to over 20 departures. The average delay is 40 minutes.
The operation of Sheremetyevo Airport has also been affected by the weather. The airport's online timetable indicates that 25 flights have been canceled and over 70 flights delayed.
Aeroflot said on Monday morning that it had canceled 30 flights from Sheremetyevo because of the bad weather and delayed 41 flights. The airline said it would offer passengers an opportunity to travel on other Aeroflot flights.
