U.S. still refuses to cooperate with Russia on Syria
WASHINGTON. Oct 19 (Interfax) - The United States is still not ready to cooperate with Russia on Syria other than in preventing air incidents, a U.S. Department of State representative told Interfax.
The U.S. position on cooperation with Russia on Syria remains the same: no cooperation other than in preventing incidents and work in multilateral formats, the diplomat said when asked to comment on Russian claims of being ready to consider jointly with the U.S. measures to stabilize Aleppo.
Such readiness was announced by Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev a day earlier.
