Nine crewmembers were killed in An-12 crash - Emergency Situations Ministry
MOSCOW. Dec 26 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has confirmed that the crash of the An-12 plane in the Irkutsk region has killed nine people.
"Information on the crash of an An-12 plane in the area of the railway station Batareinaya, Irkutsk district of the Irkutsk region, was received at 4:39 on Thursday," the Siberian Regional Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry told Interfax.
The source said the plane was carrying nine people and they all were killed.
