Moscow sees progress in talks on Iran nuclear program following Istanbul meeting
MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Moscow is optimistic about the outcomes of the Istanbul round of expert negotiations between the P5+1 group and Iran, but these outcomes are not sufficient to talk about a significant shift in the parties' positions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.
"We view the situation following the expert meeting in Istanbul on Sunday and Monday as certain progress, and it is tangible but not sufficient for talking about a decisive shift," Ryabkov said at a news conference in Moscow on Thursday.
