Court declines Alyokhina's request for deferral of punishment (Part 2)
PERM. Jan 16 (Interfax) - The court of the city of Berezniki in the Perm Territory has declined the request for deferral of punishment for Maria Alyokhina, who is now serving her sentence in penal colony N28, an Interfax correspondent has reported from the courtroom.
The judge said the court has found that the Moscow Khamovnichesky Court had taken into account the fact that Alyokhina has a small child and no new circumstances have been revealed.
Alyokhina has requested a deferral of her punishment, saying her son needs he and she fears that he may suffer psychological trauma and that it is too hard for her parents to care for him.
