MOSCOW. Aug 31 (Interfax) - The political and economic calendar in Moscow, Russia and Newly Independent States for August 31 is as follows:
*** Moscow International Automobile Salon'2012 will take place from August 29 till September 9 in IEC Crocus-Expo
*** Lukoil plans to publish Q2 and H1 2012 US GAAP financial report.
*** Lukoil - board meeting.
*** Chernomortransneft - meeting of shareholders.
*** Mostotrest - board meeting.
*** Promsvyazbank will at 5 p.m. close the bid book for series BO-07 commercial papers worth 5 billion rubles mature in 3 years. The technical placement on MICEX via open subscription is scheduled for September 6.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has given an interview to Interfax ahead of his visit to Russia on May 16-19 in which he speaks about the goals of his visit, pressing tasks that the UN face, the organization‘s reform, as well as topical issues on the international agenda, including situation in Syria and the Middle East settlement.
