Georgia spy suspect killed in skirmishes in Abkhazia
SUKHUMI. Aug 15 (Interfax) - A man has been shot dead during an operation to arrest people suspected of links with Georgian secret services in Abkhazia's Gali District, a spokesperson for the Abzkhaz State Security Service told Interfax on Wednesday.
"He was eliminated during a special operation," the official said.
Also, three men have been arrested on suspicion of having links with Georgian secret services, they are Gogity, Paaty and Gurama Butbaya, the republic's State Security Service said.
