Two militants die in clash in Ingushetia - spokesman
ROSTOV-ON-DON. May 10 (Interfax) - A spokesman for the command of
the Russian armed forces group in the North Caucasus said on Saturday
that two militants had been killed in a current security operation
against militants in a village in Ingushetia, a Russian republic
bordering Chechnya.
"A military clash has occurred on Sovetskaya Street in the village
of Troitskaya between special forces fighters and a group of militants,
who have put up fierce resistance to the law enforcement services. Two
of the bandits have been killed and one has been wounded in the course
of the battle," the spokesman told Interfax.
The spokesman said the operation was still going on.
