Long-term regulation of tariffs to be introduced in Russia by 2011 -Putin
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - There will be long-term regulation of
tariffs throughout Russia by 2011, candidate for prime minister Vladimir
Putin said at the State Duma on Thursday.
"We will eventually ensure long-term regulation of tariffs in the
entire infrastructure. We must realize that our goal is drastically
increasing the energy efficiency of our economy rather than a mere rise
in electricity, transport and gas tariffs," he said.
