Putin to meet with Duma faction leaders for consultations at 7 p.m.,Wednesday

     MOSCOW.  May  7  (Interfax)  -Consultations between the nominee for
prime minister,   Vladimir  Putin,  and  the  leaders  of  parliamentary
factions  will  be held on Putin's initiative, State Duma Chairman Boris
Gryzlov said.
     "Vladimir  Putin has proposed meeting with the faction leaders at 7
p.m. today  in the Kremlin," Gryzlov told journalists on Wednesday after
President  Dmitry  Medvedev's  letter  requesting  approval for Vladimir
Putin's nomination for prime minister was submitted to the State Duma.
