Ukraine's KSE to train 6,000 people to work with int'l financial entities under $3 mln contract with World Bank

MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - The Kiev School of Economics (KSE) has signed a $3 million contract with the World Bank to educate 6,000 specialists over three years, Ukrainian media outlets citied KSE President Timofei Milovanov as saying on social media.

"What exactly will they be trained in? [They will be trained] to cooperate with international financial institutions during and after the crisis in order to receive maximum possible financing for restoration as promptly, correctly and efficiently as possible," Milovanov said.

KSE will simultaneously act as a training center and as a resource center and will form a community of people contributing to Ukraine's recovery and development, he said.

"The contract places focus on the central authorities, as well as local authorities and society in general," he said.
