Denmark approves new 33.5-million-euro assistance package for Ukraine

MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - The Danish government has approved another humanitarian assistance package for Ukraine in the amount of 250 million Danish kroner (33.5 million euros), in particular, to support the most vulnerable groups of the population, Ukrainian media said, citing the press service for the Danish Foreign Ministry.

"The new assistance package aims to provide urgent vital humanitarian assistance and support for the most vulnerable groups of the population," Danish Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jorgensen said.

The package envisages basic emergency assistance, such as food, drugs, water and homes for Ukrainians.
